The SG-231 provides a wider frequency range, higher tuning resolution and 32 times as many tuning combinations as the original Smartuner, the SG-230. It is a quality Smartuner designed to meet the precision tuning demands of government users. It's ruggedly built and flexible and works extremely well with most 100W HF transceivers, including 6M coverage. The SG-231 also allows for a higher maximum power rating for continuous operation than the similar SG-237 and due to the precision matching capabilities, the typical VSWR is also lower.
